Spring is a busy time of year for Russ and Shala Head, the owners of Willow Creek Landscape Supply at 2415 Cedartown Highway — they have eight to 10 truckloads of flowers coming in every week.
But they don’t just sell plants; Willow Creek alos have a se-lection of more than 350 pallets of stone retaining blocks, 22 bulk bins of material, water garnder skimmers, biofalls and pumps, and more. Plus, they can deliver to jobs sites.
“We offer our customers a different kind of shopping ex-perience here than what they find at the large box stores. We know a lot of our customers by name and we try to treat them like family,” said Russ Head, who started the business about five years ago.
The company employees eight people and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
